Collaboration

xflow offers a valuable collaboration feature, essentially a comments section, where users can interact within the process. The collaboration option is available in two areas within the application:

Node Level Collaboration

Each node has a collaboration option where users can comment and tag people. This allows for specific discussions and feedback on individual nodes within the process.

Users can comment and tag people regarding the overall process. This section also aggregates comments from all nodes, providing both node-level and process-level comments. To avoid clutter and confusion, users are provided with filters to:

  • Filter comments based on nodes.

  • Filter comments based on tags or tagged people.

  • Filter comments based on versions.

  • Apply date filters to view comments within a specific date range.

Additionally, if a ticket is associated with that version, there is an option to sync comments to Jira, reflecting them in the comment section of the corresponding Jira ticket.

The collaboration section here functions similarly to the process-level collaboration. However, users also have the option to create a bug ticket along with their comment. This bug ticket will be created as a child ticket if the process version already has a ticket; otherwise, it will be created as an independent ticket.
